We currently have an opening for a Print Room Operator II 2nd shift (3:00 pm-11:30 pm) in our Orangeburg, NY location.

Position Summary:
Working under general direction, provides printed material support for the Group Leader, and filling in all areas of diagnostic manufacturing including, but not limited to, printed material support for other departments and sites.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Product Insert Printing as assigned for in-house printing
Product Insert Folding as assigned for in-house folding
Understands the use of the Print Request Form and Work Order Form for Print Room functions
Helps troubleshoot problems associated with Copier machinery
Helps troubleshoot problems associated with Folding machinery
Helps troubleshoot problems associated with Label printing machinery
Provides maintenance of Print Room files with current OTN’s distributed by QA
Provides support for maintenance of Insert Templates with fixed text needed for future use
Ensures equipment is properly maintained before, during and after each use
Printing assigned labels for the Chromogenix line using the Akribi printer
Linear barcode printing as assigned for in-house printing, using Zebra Printers
2-D barcode printing as assigned for in-house printing, using Zebra Printers
Non-barcode printing as assigned for in-house printing

Minimum Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent plus working knowledge of PC word processing applications.
