as you take on some tough challenges. You will be part of the Clinical Data Services Management Team that is accountable for the exchange of clinical data in support critical business functions across the business.

You will be responsible for the data operations, reporting as well as continual quality improvement in processes and data across data acquisition solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Across all clinical data acquisition solutions, ensure all data received is correctly processed, distributed, and accounted for throughout solution Understanding of Clinical “Big Data” with awareness of data science principles. Processes and analyzes information from any relevant and available data source in support of the mission of the organization. Develops reports, dashboards, and analytics packages using the full range of functionality available through business intelligence suite of tools. Works with other team members to develop solutions that are high performance, rapid response time, and as close to real-time as possible.

Right information of the right data age to the right person using the right tool at the right time. Ensures that data that is presented to the customer is connected to the enterprise data dictionary, standardized terminologies, and provides insight into data lineage and transformations subsequent to initial creation. Collaborate with CDSM Team, IT solution and support teams, and associated business partner teams to ensure daily operational control of clinical data exchange Maintain, monitor, and publish operational metrics to demonstrate adequate control of data within the capability Proactively identify data anomalies and issues for externally submitted clinical data and seek variances in expected patterns which may indicate undiscovered issues Trouble shooting issues regarding incorrect, incomplete, or missing data Enable actionable follow up with external business partners to re-mediate observed issues when appropriate Assist in overseeing operational break/fix activities for production operations Provide in depth analysis on quality issues leading to strategic remediation of underlying issues Continual identification of opportunities to streamline and automate operations. Assist in developing knowledge base content.

Insure knowledge base is up to date and lead continuous effort to provide quality tested content and feedback. Provide subject matter expertise in solutions Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree At least 5 years’ experience in an operations role for a large scale processes and capabilities 3 or more years demonstrated root cause analysis 4 or more years with leadership responsibilities Strong understanding of SQL and similar databases Proficient with Tableau or BI or any other visualization and reporting tool is a must Solid working knowledge of HL7 standards and healthcare related EDI technologies. Possess and exercise strong documentation skills.

Be able to translate processes and task into repeatable transferable documented procedures. Work as part of a team and larger organization; collaborate with others to insure operational needs align with organizational goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Adept with senior/executive level communication Familiar with statistical methods used in quality analysis of large data Must be strong in Data warehousing and BI concepts Must have command of Microsoft Office suite.

Excel and PowerPoint skills. Proficiency with PC based software programs, database query tools, and data analytic tools such as Excel, SQL, MS Access, and others Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree preferred Project and/or product management experience Business Analytics / Reporting experience Healthcare insurance experience Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
