The IT Dispatch Support Technician position is currently 60-day Contract to Hire . Candidates with Cisco CCENT, CCT, or CCNA active will be given preference.

Overview:

  • Performs break-fix work during Wed-Fri, 9am - 6pm, and Sat-Sun, 10am-7pm

  • Must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Travels to each client’s location using a personal vehicle and receives a mileage reimbursement per mile

  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs desktops, laptops, servers and printers

  • Works under general supervision

  • Will work POS, desktop / laptop machines, and printer repair - Lexmark printer repair down to component level

  • Provides cable repair as needed

  • Required to return / track parts

    Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience supporting desktops, laptops and printers

  • 2+ years’ experience with customer service

  • Ability to expense mileage for travel between client locations

  • Ability to work weekends, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends

  • Interpersonal skills required, as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments

  • Valid driver’s license required

    Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work on a ladder or lift

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position

  • Smartphone with tethering / hot spot capabilities (reimbursed within guidelines)

  • Laptop

  • Basic hand tools

    Preferred:

  • CompTIA A+ OEM Printer Warranty Certifications

  • OEM Laptop / Desktop Warranty Certifications

  • Cable repair experience a plus

  • Server experience a plus

  • Cisco certs highly desired
