NJ Employer Senior Valuation Consultant in Morristown, New Jersey

The OpportunityOur Morristown, New Jersey office is looking to add a new Senior Valuation Consultant who will be responsible for supervising the valuation management process. In addition, the incumbent will lead the valuation and valuation reviews on various individual assets.Key Responsibilities:* Manage the valuation management process, including supervising Consultants and Analysts on daily workflow management and advising new clients on setting up the valuation management process* Prepare quarterly valuation reports for clients* Train clients and third parties regarding Altus systems (Databridge, DataExchange, and Attribution)* Review the findings of third party appraiser reviews and communicate them to clients* Coordinate with clients and third-party appraisers to ensure that the clients will be able to address their reporting requirements for NCREIF and investors* Responsible for daily adjustment and analysis for clients' daily funds '* Review and finalize valuation reports, which will include reviewing the valuation CFs and reports completed by Consultants, inspecting the subject properties and comparables, incorporating any additional market information and data, surveying market participants for pricing and transaction assumptions and working with clients to address their comments and questions* Work on debt valuations for our debt fund clients* Attend seminars and courses in pursuit of state license. Position Requirements:* Undergraduate degree, ideally in Real Estate, Finance, Econ, Business, and/or Math* 2-3 years of experience in real estate related fields with an appraisal trainee license* Expertise using ARGUS DCF, ARGUS AE, and Dyna* Strong communication skills with a good understanding of real estate terminologies* Comfortable working as part of a team and supervising the work of junior staff* CCIM, CPA or MAI designation is an asset* General Appraiser licence is an asset Who we areAltus Group is a leading provider of independent advisory services, software and data solutions to the global commercial real estate industry.
