Pfizer Global Insights Sr. Manager NBI Mobility in Madison, New Jersey

The Global Insights Sr. Manager - NBI Mobility - will work closely with cross functional teams to bring the voice of the consumer into conversations to optimize PCH offerings for maximum value for our consumers and PCH overall, under the strategic vision of the Global New Benefit Innovation Team.

The Sr. Manager acts as a "strategic thought partner" for key multi-functional stakeholders. Critical to success is their ability to influence the strategic direction of the team by building relationships, leveraging insights and data from multiple sources, analyzing, interpreting and communicating findings and implications to partners in a clear and compelling manner.

As a key member of project teams, this role is responsible for contributing to the development of overarching global consumer insights to guide and inform growth strategies for optimal value using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to optimize these new products and experiences for consumers around the globe in the mobility space.

  • Has a clear understanding of PCH Enterprise, Regional Growth Strategies and how these projects enable both.

  • Has a strong understanding of business problems and opportunities and crafts and executes research to deliver actionable solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and leverage "Best in Class" tools and techniques to uncover unmet/underserved consumer needs and identify Innovation opportunities.

  • Shapes consumer learning agenda by helping shape strategic questions and designing research to answer them.

  • Designs and executes primary research studies and integrates findings with syndicated and secondary data, trends and business insights to create compelling and actionable recommendations to guide and enhance growth strategies.

  • Challenges the status quo and is proactive in bringing forth new ideas.

  • Can effectively operate in an uncertain, ambiguous environment and adapt to change in the face of changing business environment or new information.

Influences key stakeholder's decisions that drive business impact in the near to mid - term (1-5 years) by effectively communicating relevant consumer and business insights and leveraging knowledge from others related business strategy and objectives.

  • Ensures consistency in methodological approaches and delivers robust, high quality analysis and data interpretation.

  • Understands and employs the right research technique (qualitative or quantitative) and understands the "Art" and "Science" of market research.

  • Recommends improvements or enhancements to existing research tools and introduces and adapts thinking to embrace emerging tools and methods to accelerate learning, improve decision making, and reduce risk.

  • Works closely with Insights community to share insights and knowledge and exchange best practices.

  • Demonstrates ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing or new information.

  • Manages project costs and Consumer Engagement Process (CEP)


  • 7+ plus years of experience with consumer and business insights, both in corporate (FMCG, Healthcare) and at or with Insights Vendors (e.g. IRI, GfK)

  • Translates findings to actionable insights and drives results through influence

  • Ability to distill consumer, customer, and competitive insights to inform growth strategy

  • Quantitative and Qualitative, Primary and Secondary research skills, familiar with 3rd party data sets (IRI, Euromointor etc.)

  • Ability to communicate with clarity and impact

  • Forward thinking - understands trends and has a finger on the pulse of consumer needs

  • Highly collaborative, comfortable working across functions, ability to manage external vendor relationships

  • Healthcare or FMCG experience desirable
