BAE Systems Lead Antenna Systems Engineer in Greenlawn, New York

Job Description

The new hire s primary task will be to bring new antenna products to market. The new hire will expand the current antenna business through defining both new antenna products and derivatives of existing designs. The successful applicant will have a history of managing antenna and RF engineering and development programs and will have exhibited technical innovation and leadership. The new hire will work with a wide variety of CNI antenna products, particularly AJ GPS and Low Observable antennas. The applicant is expected to have deep domain expertise in this area, and will act as an internal consultant and technical authority. A candidate with experience creating business opportunities and leading EMD proposal efforts is strongly desired. The new hire will report to management within the business area.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Antenna domain expertise, particularly AJ GPS and other advanced CNI antennas. Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams.

Preferred Skills and Education

A history of success in technical marketing and EMD proposals. Understanding of Anti-Jam GPS systems. Low Observable antenna experience.
