Client Management Services Client Management Services operates within part of Investment Bank Operations & Technology and is a centralised, global function, which supports the business by delivering and operating its client lifecycle services. CMS has an operational presence across 4 locations, comprising c.250 colleagues. CMS includes functions such as Client On-Boarding, Client Maintenance, Client Off-Boarding, Client Regulatory, Client Integration Assessment, KYC and Client Services

Role Purpose

The key function of the Onboarding team is performing the required processes in order to effectively Onboard clients and accounts to trade with Barclays. This includes performing Onboarding, KYC, Regulatory, and other required processes so support the E2E Onboarding process.

Key Accountabilities

o Manage various processes during the E2E Onboarding process, including request initiation, managing regulatory requirements, and performing control functions.

o Utilize internal systems for workflow management and data storage.

o Respond to queries regarding the status of specific requests.

o Build strong working relationships and liaise with internal and external dependents including Clients, Sales, Trading, Credit, Legal and Operations

o Reviewing control reports, investigating and resolving breaks.

o Performing quality checking on a sample of requests processed.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

o Be an effective and articulate communicator via e-mail and telephone especially important when communicating requirements and managing Client / Business expectations.

o Liaise with Clients, Front Office, Credit, Legal and Operations as necessary as part of the Verification and Enrichment process

Risk and Control Objective All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards

Person Specification

Basic Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

o 1-3 years work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

o Strong attention to detail

o Energetic

o “Can Do” Attitude that is self motivated and highly driven

o Ability to multi-task and manage heavy volumes of work and prioritize accordingly

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

o Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel)

o Ability to work as part of a team
