Individuals must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership abilities. They also must have the capacity to work with cross functional teams to accomplish overall project goals. Ideally, the project manager has five years of experience managing projects from inception to completion and/or specific consulting subject matter expertise. Project management certification is desirable.Project Manager ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of Professional Services Project Manager are:Develop and manage project scope, functional and technical requirements and designsSetting project timelines, milestones, and deliverablesCoordinating work tasks with cross functional team leadersExecuting the project plan, and monitoring, controlling, and reporting on project status, budget, and risks.Scheduling team members, assigning tasks to consultants and supervising work and work deliverablesTransitioning completed client projects to Client ServicesPlanview/Helios ResponsibilitiesEnsure time is entered and submitted for each time period.Ensure detailed comments are provided for each billable time entry.Ensure vacations, floating holidays, and personal time off is scheduled.Ensure billable client project tasks are scheduled.Ensure Travel Approval Requests are submitted prior to any travel arrangements.Ensure expense reports are entered and submitted within a week of the expenditure.Ensure project members enter and submit billable time for the proper Task-Activity for each project.Ensure detailed comments are provided for each billable time entry.Once a project phase is completed, inactivate the team members from entering time against a signed off Task.JIRA ResponsibilitiesEnsure project team members are following up and closing their project's respective JIRA issues.Project Management ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain project plans.Store all Project deliverables (signoffs, documentation, workbooks, customer status reports, tech info/vpn, issues list, major decisions, etc.) on SharePoint.Provide manager with all project statuses on a bi-weekly basis.Update all project statuses on the FIS FIS PMO site (or other designated site) on a weekly basis.Ensure planned project work is scheduled in Planview.Identify opportunities for follow-on work and communicate to Sales.Provide Client with weekly (minimum bi-weekly) status reports that include a budget summary, and an assessment of all of the project risks.FIS is the world's largest global provider dedicated to financial technology solutions.
