Advertised Summary Job Description

Reporting to the Data Integrity Assistant Director, the Specialist analyzes data to identify and document trends/patterns of errors. Reviews established solutions to identify the best course of action to resolve the error. The Specialist is responsible for working with Senior Analysts in Data Integrity as well as other HRIS/HRPC team members to support the day-to-day operations of the existing PeopleSoft system. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director, provide assistance on the day-to-day maintenance and correction of data, including review of interface files and setup of configuration tables. Troubleshoot production issues and identify improvements to existing audits.

The successful incumbent has strong analytical and technical skills to identify patterns of issues and be creative in finding solutions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: analyzing data and spotting trends; understanding existing issues and providing a fresh perspective on resolving them. Executing existing queries and reviewing reports to support the normal operations; providing support and data validation for the annual internal and external system audit; daily review of different data query outputs and correcting errors to ensure the integrity of the information in the HCM system. Other special projects and duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Must have a minimum of two years of related experience, preferably in HRIS and/or Payroll in Higher Education or in other complex organizations. Strong computer skills and experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 or other HCM system required.

Ability to be precise and attentive to detail is essential.
