Title: Global Vice President of eRetail Development

Reporting to: Sean Foster, SVP Global Ecommerce

Location: New York

Role Description

The Global Vice President of eRetail development will work closely with the SVP, Global Ecommerce as well as the divisions and markets to define business needs for eRetail partnership to propel growth. This role will focus on developing global partnerships with key retail partners (e.g., Amazon) that will recognize the combined strength of Coty across divisions and markets to unlock additional value to benefit all markets. He/she will create a global operational blueprint for flawless execution online in store fundamentals (e.g., CARS) and work with local markets on execution and global teams on key elements of perfect store online such as content development. He/she will define a technology stack to deliver step function changes in capabilities for customer support at the local market level and work with the global planning team to define data tracking and reporting. This role will work closely with other key global support teams to ensure local teams have best of breed capabilities to manage customer relationships. The global eRetail team will partner with other global teams to develop playbooks and training programs for smaller markets. This role work closely with the divisional VP’s of ecommerce to ensure flawless customer execution at the market level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop key customer relationships on a global and local level

  • Develop and train in a global blueprint for perfect store online

  • Create capabilities required to consistently deliver eretail fundamentals

  • Work with global teams on creation of key asset creation – e.g., content

  • Work closely with global/divisional trade marketing and sales organizations on customer development plans

  • Partner with global planning and finance teams on NR data tracking and reporting (negotiating/program development with customer partners)

  • Develop 4 pillar partnerships models with Beamly product, account, media and POD teams

  • Assist local sales teams in customer negotiations harnessing 4 pillar capabilities

  • Develop technical stack to support eretail partnerships (with Beamly, Coty IT and outside vendors)

  • Ensure global technical platform training and usage (e.g, CARS tracking, DAM, PIM)

Special skills required:

  • Open and accessible Leadership style, with the ability to consistently achieve positive results

  • Deep subject matter expertise in managing eretail customer relationships and programs

  • Proven track record of building and growing eretail revenue

  • Proven ability to work with external technology vendors and internal IT teams

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the e-commerce landscape and KPI`s, digital marketing, e-retail- and brand strategies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems successfully

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen to understand, and to translate the company/brand strategy to e-retailers and enroll them in support of strategies

  • Strong negotiating skills with the ability to influence up one or more levels and at top to top levels across Coty and the customer organization

  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, complex matrix and changing environment

  • Ability to develop reporting staff to full potentials and to build leaders for the future
