Needed: Aestheticians at Luxury NYC Spa

We are looking to hire part-time Aestheticians for our luxury spa, The Spa at the Carlyle Hotel, one of New York City's most iconic hotels.

The Aesthetician will be responsible for providing guests with comprehensive and professional facials and body therapies (including waxing). Must have excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills and maintain a high level of customer service standards. Must have the ability to perform services using proper draping techniques while maintaining the highest level of professionalism at all times. Scheduling dependability and flexibility is a must.

Requirements:

  • Must have State Board of Cosmetology License.

  • Must have at least 2-5 years of aesthetician experience, preferably in a resort.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Skillful with hands in order to adjust actions in relation to guests preferences.

  • Knowledge of aesthetics, and aesthetics practices (including waxing).

  • Basic Computer software skills.

  • Candidates must also be authorized to work in the US.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays) and must also be available on an "on-call" basis (if needed).

Compensation: Commission + Gratuity + Retail Commission
