  • Job Overview: *

The Omni Associate Inventory Planner is responsible for managing location inventory levels and driving replenishment to achieve sales, margin and turn for a defined area within the Omni Inventory Planner’s total area of responsibility. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Essential Functions: *

    • Manage replenishment settings to achieve Merchandising goals and targets

    • Develop skills necessary for advancement

    • Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality

    • Key Activities:

      o Work closely with Omni Inventory Planner, and Omni Merchandise Planning teams on allocation and replenishment, including preparing for vendor negotiations o Create replenishment forecasts financial projections o Create and update seasonal replenishment profiles o Set allocation parameters and run allocation in system (A3) o Manage pool stock o Create promotional builds for events o Prepare and present replenishment sales forecasts to Omni Merchandise Planning, Buying and vendor partners o Determine replenishment levers to adjust sales forecast based forecast review o Communicate with field team regarding location specific customer preferences o Through Communication Tool, respond and react to Field requests o Recommend system training and enhancement needs to Omni Inventory Planner and system super user group o Support testing of system enhancements o Work closely with the Merchandise Planning team on assortment planning handoff and allocation strategy review o Coach, train and develop Omni Assistant Inventory Planner and Executive Development Trainees o Develop self – attend ongoing professional development and training. Stay current on management best practices

      o Omni Inventory Planner o Omni Merchandise Planner & Omni Associate Merchandise Planner allocation & replenishment o Omni Buyer & Digital Merchant

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent)
  • 2 years retail buying or planning experience

    Communication Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence

    Other Skills

  • Strong analytical and excel skill

  • Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency

  • Ability to develop, plan, present and execute strategies

  • Readily grasps numerical concepts and interprets financial information accurately; ability to utilize retail math skills to analyze and drive business
