Invesco Administrative Assistant in New York, New York


WL Ross & Co. manages assets for institutional investors in the U.S., Europe and Asia. It was formed in April 2000 by Wilbur Ross as an independent organization dedicated to private investments and fund management for institutional investors and family offices across the globe. Job Purpose (Job Summary): This position will support 3 investment teams within W.L. Ross & Co.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to a team of Executives
  • Coordinate travel both international and domestic including detailed itineraries
  • Handle heavy calendar management and complex meeting schedule‚Äôs
  • Schedule and coordinate internal and offsite meetings, including setting up conference rooms, ordering catering as appropriate and welcoming guests
  • Enter guests into building security and book conference rooms
  • Prepare meeting materials
  • Handle busy phone coverage; answer, screen and direct calls as appropriate
  • Process expense reports
  • Use various resources to pull research
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • General administrative tasks: printing, faxing, filing and scanning
  • Provide backup coverage to other members of the administrative team

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Previous administrative experience necessary
  • Proficiency with office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving and challenging environment
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Take initiative and adaptable

Formal Education:(minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Some college preferred
