The OpportunityPrimary task to gain knowledge and experience in appraisal review for all property types. Learn the basic sub-property type attributes and how location and market trends impact rent and expenses. Learn how to analyze an Income and Expense statement; research sale and lease comparables and apply adjustments to the subject property; read leases to understand tenant recovery structures; and build cash flows.Key Responsibilities:* Request bids from appraisers on behalf of clients for new client quarterly work; Schedule assets quarterly for each client in a system called AMTS quarterly. Sends invoices to the appraisers for the clients.* Maintains a manual tracking sheet or DataExchange (DX) for clients ( manually tracks property/asset related documents back and forth between appraisers, Altus, and clients through emails for quarterly work ); Corresponds with appraisers throughout quarter to ensure timely receipt of all asset information and documents.* Uploads data throughout the quarter and final data at the end of the quarter into DataBridge (DB). Conducts the Extraction process several times in the quarter which pulls data from Argus models into DB. Spot checks data. Sends draft reports to clients. Sends final reports to clients, multiple parties, and uploads files into DX.* Various ad hoc administrative tasks.Position Requirements:* Knowledge of real estate, finance, math/statistics, accounting/or economics (undergraduate degree level).* Working knowledge of Excel and business writing skills.* Knowledge of ARGUS AE modeling program preferred.* Good communications skills.Who we areAltus Group is a leading provider of independent advisory services, software and data solutions to the global commercial real estate industry.
