Job DescriptionDirect all administrative processes related to budget and finance in the Office of Residence LifeProvide financial advisement and process expenditures for the offices $28 million budget; manage all purchases and billing while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entries and analysesCollect data, prepare reports and analyses, and make recommendations for improvements with regards to budgeting and financeAnalyze trends and make projections related to housing occupancy, costs, and profitsAssist in the preparation of regular housing and budget reportsClosely monitor revenues and expenditures for the office; track and reconcile accounts to ensure that proper revenue is collected and for student housing and dining, interdepartmental charges, and summer conferences; ensure payments to vendors are processed in a timely and consistent manner; reconcile purchase card transactionsWork closely with the Office of Student Accounts to bill students for housing and dining; track and reconcile accounts receivables for housing and dining billssupport for the summer conference operationEnsure compliance with university policies with regards to spending and finance; provide training for staff on University finance guidelines and processesAssist with basic human resources tasks including recruitment and onboarding of new staff in the officeAssist with response to student and parent inquiriesOther duties as assignedDepartmentResidence LifeGeneral Submission Guidelines:In order to be considered a candidate for any job at Stevens, you must submit an online application.
