CUNY Administrative Events Coordinator - Administration and Finance in Bronx, New York
Under the direction of the Director of Events Management at Bronx Community College, the Coordinator will assist in the planning, coordinating and execution of events, conferences and programs on campus. Ensure all events are scheduled through the Resource 25 system and have a corresponding contract, MOU or approval document received prior to the event and filed with the Business Office. Work with campus constituents on staffing, logistics and event details. Conduct pre- and post-event walk through and ensure all events are conducted in a professional manner. Ensure customer service standards are met. Work with Communications and IT department on advertising, website content and media programming. Provide monthly reports to the Executive Staff and conduct system training as requested or required.
Additional duties include:
Coordinate vendors and on-site events staff; work with colleagues effectively and proactively.
Plan event logistics in Resource 25 or equivalent and prepare monthly and bi-annual reports.
Review inquiries from external organizations and vendors.
Work with various departments to prepare and manages guest lists, invitations, and arrangements for featured guests and speakers.
Assess event results including audience attendance and breakdown of cost; develop satisfaction surveys and event feedback.
Bachelor's Degree required.

Assures technology and equipment are available as needed and operate properly.
Collects information to evaluate program/event success, and report results to management.
