Job DescriptionCustomer Service Manager needed in Bay Shore!Our client is a is a privately owned, durable medical equipment (DME) company that supplies a broad range of products including compression stockings, custom compression garments, lymphedema pumps, and wound care supplies. Our client is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead their team to the next level. If you are a seasoned manager with 5-10 years experience in the customer service / healthcare space, this is the opportunity for you! Job Responsibilities:-Process customer orders, requests and information updates into a patient order management system -Orders received via phone, fax and email-Respond promptly to customer inquiries and follow up on customer interactions-Resolve issues with customers in a professional and caring manner-Manage other team members in Woundcare and Pump business department-Verify insurance coverage from Medicare and commercial insurance and facilitate with billing department on insurance authorizations-Work with warehouse staff to confirm order accuracy and details, and occasionally ship orders as needed-Interest and willingness to learn product lines to consult with customers and sales reps. -Scan and file patient documentation as needed-Work with Warehouse staff to ensure appropriate levels of inventory are maintained-Work closely with Billing Department to process orders for satisfactory billing documentation and financial considerations-Work closely with Sales on sourcing new products from vendors and new product approval committee-Order Office Supplies-Ability to make outbound re-order sales calls to patients to check on their need for additional supplies-Support additional initiatives as assignedThis is a temp to perm opportunity, however direct hire may be considered for the right candidate, and salary is commensurate with experience.
